Two former Metropolitan Police officers started Ashgrove in 2004 with one contract and a promise: the people we send are people we employ.
Twenty years, one rule
Ashgrove has never subcontracted an officer. Every person who wears our name is recruited, trained, supervised and paid by us. It costs more and it is the reason clients stay: the officer at your door in year five is the same officer who learned your house in year one.
We are around sixty officers, a control room in Farringdon staffed day and night, and a training arm that keeps the whole company current.
Who runs it
The two founders still run the operations, and every senior supervisor came up through the ranks here. Consultancy work is done by the same people who run the details, not by a separate advisory arm that has never stood a post.
